MOHAWK VALLEY PUPS

Project Overview

Mohawk Valley Pups is a local startup whose goal is to connect reputable puppy breeders with people looking for puppies.

For aesthetics, the client wanted something fun and professional with a moderate outdoorsie feel to it -- a nod to the local geography. To solve this, I used a more natural color pallete consisting of greens and blues.

The site functionality requirements were also fairly straightforward as well. (1) He and his wife needed the ability to easily add new puppy listings. (2) Visitors needed the ability to view and search through those listings. And (3) potential buyers had to be able to contact sellers to arrange a purchase.

Looking forward, the client plans to expand on this with additional functionality, including features like creating user accounts, handling transactions between buyers and sellers, and adding in a new, non-profit section dedicated to helping re-home unwanted puppies.
